Those of you who are my regular readers must know by now that I am simply c-ray-zay about wearing maxis over maxis (e.g. maxi cardi over maxi dress).
I just saw a photo of Codie Young in magazine featuring a shoot for Rodarte, and guess what? It was a maxi coat over a maxi dress... So what do I do? I google her and the Rodarte style. Mmmmm mmmm! I found some gorgeous inspirations for this look... modest yet trendy... well, more pretty than trendy! I prefer pretty to trendy since trends don't last. :)
Soooo, if it's cold out where you are (as it is here down under in the land of Oz), you too can rock the same look with minimal effort. :)

The 4th pic is my favorate. THere are a lot of beautiful vintage coats to fit this style but its getting closer to summer where I am (states). Beautiful pics though!
